International engine of the year?
Well it's that time again and I was wondering who you think to win the title.
Contenders are BMW 123d - First all -alloy diesel to produce more than 100hp/litre. BMW M3 - Ultra high revving 4.0L v8 which also produces more than 100hp/litre RS6 - A beast of an engine with an output to match, yet is more economical and has the lowest C02 levels of any of it's lower powered rivals. GTR - The rest of the car is incredible, is the engine any less so? CTS-V - The monster from the place where you can never have too much of a good thing. Pick your favourite. |

I myself will be voting based on logic as I believe this year it's environmental issues which will sway the voters.
So it's the 123d which is getting my vote. P.S. Though I secretly think the RS6 engine is the daddy in this line-up. |

golly, I would have thought the Caddie engine would win the poll on an M3 forum? Especially with that nice plastic cover.

Results not so surprising on a BMW forum...
Despite the great performance of the M3 plant I think it is way to similar to the M5 V10 to garner any awards. |
