335is alignment specs
first alignment for e93...rear tires were fine, front wear on inside and outside, while pressure was high...
Going Monday to get the car aligned...what should I ask for? |

Front camber measured when was delivered to alignment shop = -2.5° Rear camber = -1.5° Handling delightful. Remarkable and rewarding in turns....no end to it. Steptronic unexpectedly smooth....glass smooth & silky....nope, haven't figured that out yet. After alignment shop adjusted to 1.5° camber front 'n' rear, ride significantly degraded, comfort & back road handling, yet I'm sure my tires are sending good vibes to me now. Everything works of course....yellows & linear springs yield firm ride + tight tight handling. Suspension very quiet. Little lean now - was more w/more neg front camber. But, dang it was good while it lasted! Was the candle burning @ both ends? . Last edited by CALWATERBOY; 06-04-2012 at 10:22 AM.. |

These were my target settings based on combing through a bunch of threads.
Front Toe: 1/16" Total toe in Camber: -1.5 deg Rear Toe: 3/16" Total toe in Camber: -2.0 deg I'm pretty happy with the handling results. I haven't put that many miles on it since, so I can't comment on the tire wear. I have coil overs and camber plates, so your results may vary. While 0 toe in the front probably helps with tire wear, the front end will be darty. If you need quicker steering for AutoX, you can adjust the toe yourself at the track and then set it back at the end of the day. Just make sure you mark the orientation of the nut before you adjust the toe. A simple half to full turn should get you to 0 and back.
