Not a fan of the time attack stripe.

But you have best attempt at painting the stock calipers. Everyone else that has done it, it just looks wrong. They use a decal that is too big.

Your caliper paint and decal size looks really good.

I really think that the wheels are fine but the problem is that the focus comes off of the car with the bright red. Perhaps a duller or matte red would put more of a "blended" look. It is like looking at two beautiful things but one over powers the other. Great concept and I think if you lower it, it might bring it together a little bit more.

IMO the frt callipers with the M logo is real nice.

Now for the bad news. Rule#1 never put wheels on the car that will take away or over power the look of the car.

I'm a strong believer of that rule because when i look at your car your wheels with the bright red line dont give me a chance to enjoy the car they immediately go to the wheels.

The wheels in all black with a sport spring drop and those bad ass frt callipers would do the trick clean and flowing is what i like.

Your name-calling of someone for voicing an opinion is very telling in and of itself.

Sometimes the truth hurts.

The OP posted pictures on the world wide web and asked for thoughts. Did that mean only positive or politically correct responses were allowed?

My post was heartfelt, perhaps harsh, but not meant to be hurtful. Look, if you want to run gold-plated emblems, paint your calipers purple, or put racing stripes wherever you can make them fit, great! It's your car- you've got to drive it, just don't go posting pictures asking the public for opinions and get upset when someone is critical...

For JC919, the OP, and any other poilitically correct here among us, this is the "PC- approved" version of my earlier post:

Rather than enhancing the beauty of the OEM the "time-attacks", red roundels, and painted calipers do just the opposite-distract from the exclusive stance and lines of the car, homogonizing the M division's pride and joy with the dredges that attend "cruise-night" and the like.

Cheers!

^^ lol!! He is right though. OP wanted opinions, he gets it. Some people like to candycoat but some are really frank. I think the o.p.'s cool with it .
my thoughts: thinner not too bright red rings, black and white roundels, black calipers with the m logo. Your car still looks ok though.
