wife says my car is slow.

Had to take my wifes cherokee srt8 in for service last week. So she's takes my car to work for the day (which makes me freak btw). Anyway i get home and she's like is everything ok with my Jeep. I said yes, is everything ok with my bimmer. She's says yeah, thank God i want my Jeep back. Your car is slow! My jaw hit the floor lol. I didn't even get into it with her. Obviously she doesnt know the difference between quick and fast. She probably never took it past 4000rpms. Just wanted to share that with you guys.

Time to do a trade-in, and I'm not talking about your M3.

Lmao no way man she's to cool or at least she thinks she's is lol. She came from a nissan frontier. I like that truck too except the mpg. My car almost seems economical after driving that thing . But I'm still gonna have to figure out how to race her one day and stomp on that thing.

Does it have cylinder deactivation that you can implement?

That's why I feel bad whenever I see an M3 driven by a woman here, most of them drive the M3 like a Honda Civic

Take her out on a proper road, stay in the proper rev range, and carry speed through corners that she could only dream of doing with her Jeep. Then regret doing that when she goes from hating your car to bugging you to let her drive it all the time.

Those things are fast on acceleration specially from dead stop. From a 1/4 stand point I think its even with m3, but since it has more low end torque it feels faster and might actually be faster to 60. SO yeah if your wife stomped on both cars stop light to stop light I can see why she would think the str8 is faster.

an SRT-8 is slower on the 1/4 then a stock M3(manual or DCT) but a manual M3 will have a hard time beating an SRT-8 on the 0-60 but a DCT M3 should'nt!

edit: I go often to the drag strip and my friend also come with his SRT-8!

I totally agree from a dig, it will pull on the m3. But over 60mph it starts to show what an obese pig it really is (in stock form). The torque its nuts and alot of fun but as someone else said try going around some curves at high speed and forget it. Although it does handle better then i thought its no ///M.
