Tire Size for 19X10 RE30 RIM

All,

Can someone let me know if 285-30-19 a suitable tire size for 19X10 Volk RE30 rim with +25 offset? Will this rub in any way? I called Tire rack and they recommended 275-35? Why would they recommend this and not the 285-30
This is for 2009 E92.

Yes it is, you can even run a 295. There are some members on here with TEs that run 295.

It is because with 285/30/19... the overall diameter will be way too small(8%).

It's better to go with 275/35/19 which is about only 4% larger.

No to thread jack, but would 265//30/19's be too stretched for a 19x10?

275/35-19 will be perfect for the 19 x 10 RE30.
sometimes we opt for the 285/30-19 when the customer is running 245/35-19 fronts.

With 255/35-19 front, I like to pair them up with 275/35-19. Of course, this also depends on the availability of the size combination from the different manufacturers.
