2008 E92 BMW M3 DCT (Grey) - 49.5K Miles - Miami, FL - HUGE PRICE DROP
Had to revise the post after finding out some Carfax things I did not know about when I first posted this. Price has been dropped accordingly. What's good about the car? 1) Low Mileage (49,500 Miles) 2) Everything OEM (You can customize as you like or keep as is) 3) Awesome grey color you won't get tired of (Black interior) 4) 19 inch OEM rims. 5) Throttle Valve Actuators just replaced about a month and a half ago with OEM TVAs!! ($2,000 replacement) 6) Second owner only. I've had the car since 2010. 7) Car runs perfect! (You can test drive it anytime if you're local to Miami) 8) AWESOME PRICE! What's not so good about the car? 1) Hood has a little dent on its front, right on top of the grill. Please check image to see. (Carfax reports it as damage) 2) Some very light scratches here and there (front bumper, right side of the rear bumper, and on one of the rims). They can be seen by clicking on the images then clicking on "Full Resolution image" 3) Was totally unaware that this car was bought back by BMW before I bought it back in 2010, but I just noticed it in my Carfax. 4) This is a stupid issue. When registering my car in Virginia, and it came time to put the number of miles, I was told that I can just put an estimate and that it didn't matter if the miles were exact, so i put 25,000 at the time because I knew it was 20 something. So naive of me and stupid. Turns out now that my CarFax shows that as an issue, as if there was an odometer problem, even if the odometer doesn't get checked at the DMV obviously. So stupid. That's it! It was a pretty bad time for me to find out about points 3 and 4 until I pulled up the carfax a few days ago. I thought I had a super clean title and was completely surprised by it, so i understand the value of the car drops a little with these paperwork problems. If you plan on keeping this car for a long time, obviously the title issues are not a big deal. VIN: WBSWD93538PY42112 Includes: - 19 inch OEM rims - 7-Speed DCT - Brand new Throttle Valve Actuators OEM. - Carbon Fiber Roof and carbon fiber Interior details. - Leather interior. Hope you like it! Message me with serious offers only. Willing to negotiate. CLICK ON IMAGES TO ZOOM. Text Aziz at 703-300-8662 Last edited by deon10; 10-02-2017 at 07:31 PM.. Reason: Price drop |

Nearly $28k seems steep for a 2008 without rod bearing service and damaged hood, though it is low mileage. Do you have oil analysis reports? Im local in Miami and would be interested if it was priced lower or had healthy oil report history.
Also you dont have cold weather package (no headlight washers), just the heated seats which were a stand alone option without the package

It was advertised as cold weather package when I bought it at the time, probably because of heated seats. So my mistake, I've removed mention of it from my post. About oil analysis reports, I've never heard of them tbh. I'm a leisure driver so I just take my car for service, and they never said there was anything wrong with anything , so I wouldn't have known to ask for them to do an oil analysis separately. I'm open to talking about price. I understand that a hood that needs some repairing is not something easy to put a price reduction on. But I think the very recent TVA repair and the inclusion of the old TVAs for future use or for reselling is a good value too. I priced my car when comparing to what other E92s have been selling for with this mileage and which have not had rod bearing service either (minus a little bit for repair budget). However, like I said, I'm here to find something that will satisfy me and the buyer, so I'm open to talking about price that's satisfactory to both Last edited by deon10; 09-22-2017 at 09:43 AM.. |

BUMP - Please re-read original post.
I have added information that I just found out about my car through Carfax that I didn't know before, so I dropped down the price. Feels bad finding out that stuff all of a sudden like that :/ |

BUMP - Huge price drop! Motivated to sell soon
Car was test-driven by a member of M3Post who lives in Miami. He had no problems with the car, but didn't like the Carfax issues mentioned above and decided not to buy. It's an awesome car that runs perfect but with some stupid paperwork issues. |
