yes...
on the e46 M3 coupe spy shots.
they stuck door handles on the rear panels to imitate a 4 door.

Must say, I like the look, the bumper will be just fine. It makes the back more present, seems less flat, and that is precisly what it needs, just a agressive sexy fat ass .The plate on the trunk makes the back to small and flat.

License plate location

According to AutoLies the concept vehicle will have the plate in the bumper and the production model in the trunk. For what it's worth (nothing).

So if he's right (he should know what he's talking 'bout), it WILL be in the bumper.

Best regards, south
He really "spilled the beans" on this here at m3post. See Manz's signature and Scott's reply. Bumper it is. I think now I like the trunk lid location a bit better but I also have faith. Also the more different than the regular 3er the better IMO.

Is that one of SCOTT's official pictures of the new M3? If so, I'm in love!

Scott26 on this forum often posts at GCZ (www.germancarzone.com) as well. I think more of his immediate, telling, teasing posts have been over there. I lured him over here and he reads and posts here fairly regularly. Multiple sources have identified him as a marketing person inside BMW, working in Germany. You have to read all the posts to keep up (this has been discssed here in other threads). Cheers.
