Please don't leave them original, that would spoil the whole look of the car. Sell them to me cheap and I'll use them for track wheels. Oops, sorry, kinda' let the cat out of the bag there.

I personally don't like black wheels because you can't see the design of the wheels as well. IMO, if you want to do black wheels, you need a bigger brake rotor and silver calipers so the wheels have a better contrasting background. That said, there are obviously a lot of people who love black wheels.

One important question......what color is your car?

I don't agree. People don't photograph them well typically, but the detail is still there except from a long distance...which no one should care about anyway.

I just had some 18" wheels powdercoated. Before and after weight was just shy of 2 pounds. This was doing the face and the visible part of the barrel.

I agree ^^^ 100% leave them as they are or sell them and get a new set

Image at the night can u see black wheel shape more or silver more ? im not saying its not good looking wheel it is good looking just saying the black color wont show as much shape as bright colors ( especially at the nite ) so i personally wont do black wheels on my car , plus silver doesnt really require to do phtograph well to show the shape but black does need not cup of my tea =(

That doesnt sound right .... I hav PCed wheels a several times and never seen a noticeable weight gain. Didnt your shop media blast them prior to PCing???

If so the new PC doesnt weight anymore then the old. Also even if they didnt its basically a thick paint and at most should be a couple of ounces.
