DCT skipping gear when upshifting

Does anyone have the same problem? Mine DCT trans skips gear 2 when upshifting. I tried to reset the trans adaptation, did not resolve the problem.
It only happens in manual mode, either with paddles or shifters. Does not happen in the auto mode.
Give me some clue, please

Same use to happen to me. I opened the paddle shifter and put some electric die grease and put everything back , it’s been a year and some 7k miles the issue has not come back,
By the way to trace This issue and change the leaking pan , I had the whole transmission brought out and the mechanic cleaned all the magnets inside
After putting back together the issue was never solved then he serviced the DCT paddle and every thing went to normal

Thank you very much for the information. Do you think there is a high possibility that the paddle shifters inside the steering wheel have a problem?

Possible. Are you using extended paddles or stock pieces?

Hello
I think you can look up video on how to take out steering wheels and once it’s out you can clean the electric circuit board and use electric die grease on it and reinstall it,
If it’s fixed then no harm and no cost for DIY,
That way you know that if it is indeed the paddle shifter or something else,
Mostly it should work from what I have done and seen on other threads
Good luck

Try removing and cleaning pushbutton switches with contact cleaner. We've seen these fail before, it may need replacement.

The contact switches on the paddle assemblies themselves.

We can monitor paddle activity with our Autologic to determine the buttons are registering at all if you would like to schedule a time to drop by.
