After a weekend of driving an AMG...

I'm glad to be driving my M again. Drove my moms SLK55 AMG around for the last 3 days (perks of house sitting means you get to car sit too!) and though I really like the car, it just doesn't compare to my M.

Rocket quick in a straight line, but man your kidneys take a beating over the bumps and there's no such thing as road feel because there is no feeling for the road what so ever.

Driving to work this morning in the M made me think; "Thank God I'm driving my car again!"

Cheers!

That's funny because my mom also has an slk55...they are nasty fast in a straight line, but other then that they are too small and I would take my M any day of the week over it

i love the slk 55 amg... i test drove it once.... i guess i didnt push it hard enough but i thought it was a pretty good car. the only thing i cant live with is the lack of space in such a small car.

OTOH if it was a woman with a nice divorce settlement instead of a rich husband, my question would be:

Is she hot?

I agree with you, but I really think you should leave penis size out of this.

The lack of ride quality is probably due to the short wheelbase.

Go try driving the new SL63/C63/CLK63BS. Completely different feel.

So SL black Edition would make me dump the M real quick lol

I agree with driving the SL63 Merc noticed they had to improve their sports cars a little bit

Agreed. Maybe not the SL though. Still too small for me and I'm just 6'.

AMG's are something special in the higher coupe/sedan models like the CL/S/E.

I agree with all the comments. It is a girls car, but one with a wonderful motor. I'd too take a CLK63BS and/or a CL63 over my M. But all are way more money than my M so I think I'll just stay happy with this crowd for now.

kidding aside, it is a great machine. its fast and powerful, but i still don't see it as a man's car.

You can buy mine for not much more than a new M3.
