DCT Paddle Shifter Change Up Questions
Curious: Has anyone swapped out their OEM paddle shifters for billet style aluminum ones? If so, what type did you install? Lastly how much of a pain is the install- considering the wheel removal and that little ball bearing in there (somewhere) . Thanks!

It's not that hard. You don't have to take the wheel off and yes the bearing is something you can't loose. But overall it's a 2 out of 5 difficulty.

Verstrabe.
Not hard to install. Took about an hour. Required a couple of screwdrivers. No need to remove steering wheel.

Relatively simple to do as a DIY. Here's a video showing an overview of the steps involved:
Let me know if you have any questions!
