Looking to make the jump to something forged; either Volks, Advans, or Rennens.
It's only ever happened to me once, but years ago a pothole destroyed one of my rims, and it wasn't really an issue as I just walked into my dealer and walked out with a replacement for that stock rim.
I'm wondering, if I ever had that bad of luck again, how hard is it to order 1 single rim of say Volk TE37SL or Advan RS or anything from Rennen?
I only ever see them advertised or sold as sets.
Or is this really a non-issue as I'd have to get into something pretty serious to have a forged rim go on me?

I can answer on behalf of the Rennen's- you can order a single wheel no problem. However, there will be a period of time you will have to wait as they are completely custom built to order. Let us know if you have any other questions regarding Rennen's
