Jerez M3 ordered!!!

I pulled the trigger today on the ordering the M3 coupe. I ordered it with Jerez black w/ bamboo. I did have a hard time deciding whether to get the bamboo interior or fox red. I did see the fox in person and to my surprise, I liked it. I still never saw the bamboo in person. My salesman told me I could always change the order to fox interior. Thoughts?

Yes you can change it, you don't even have a production number yet. Did he even give you a price on the car and options yet.

I test drove a e90 with Jerez and fox red a few weeks ago and it was nicer then I thought. It actually caught my eye across the lot. Its a personal decision but I would consider the red fox (non extended) over the bamboo. I think the red gives it a nice pop without being over the edge.

Congrats! I took delivery of my E90 M3 last week in Jerez/PS . Jerez is a fantastic colour, you will love it.

Congrats!

JzB is a great color,- you better get sheeps-skin glove and BMW shampoo, because you can never take this gorgeous fininsh through car wash (but you wouldnt anyway, just j/k).

By the way, why wouldn't you get ZCP? You can still play/change packages around... OEM tune at a good value... You can save money on other options/packages and have ZCP instead.- best functional and visual package...

Dima, Im trying to keep the payments as low as possible. If I were to get ZCP plus premium and navi, It would be too much. Navi and premium are 2 must options for me. Im very happy with my choice

^^^^^

It is a very good choice indeed!

JzB + bamboo is a very sophysticated, refined combo... As I've always said, the best options come free of charge, M V8 engine, CF roof... it's an M3!!!

I have Fox Red and it's nice, but I must say, I think IB on Bamboo will look extremely sharp.

Jerez - excellent choice! Negative on Fox. I like the idea of it but I think one would get sick of it after a while. Bamboo is the safer choice for sure. If you are planning on keeping this car, then stick with a neutral color. If leasing, I guess it wouldn't be as much of a concern. Plus, I kinda think fox red is a chick color. Flame away!

I would be torn apart if I had to make a choice,- fox and bamboo both are must have... fox is so nice and sporty, but so is bamboo... how can you ever make a choice? I think bamboo might get boring after a while as well,- it's a grandma color! LOL

.... I can tell for sure fox is great when not extended!

I've seen both the red and bamboo. IMO, the bamboo looks the best with Jerez. But you can't go wrong with either. What trim are you getting? I think the CF leather and wood look best with bamboo and the CF or aluminum with the red.

There's nothing wrong with the 18" rims. You may just want to keep them, esp. if the roads are as bad as you imply.

As I've been saying: congrats and sympathies. Congrats on the new M3. Sympathies on the wait.

Cheers.

Waiting is all the FUN !

... I had a friend once, he was older but very very rich, he built his billion dollar empire from nothing. He was working at it since his twenties in 1940's... and kept on building his fortune ever since... I met him later on in his life, and at that point he had it all, and he could have had anything he would ever want...but he didn't want anything and was bored, the only one thing he loved doing is making money!
He said to me once,- "it's fun getting there, once you there is no fun"

(RIP Miron).

P.S. When I first got my 335i in '07, and told him that I really want M3 and going to trade in my 335i... he just said,- "new car every year?,- is hot... nothing wrong with that, if you want it you gotta hustle..."

I prefer the fox red. I never wanted a car with "red" interior, but the fox red with the orange/brown hues looks amazing. I get more compliments on the color of the interior than anything else!
