Sorry, but I don't see the point of replacing a nice tricolor stitched wheel with a flat bottom M sport wheel. Hope it's only me.

Best regards, south

not feeling the perforated leather... but the wheel looks like it would be comfortable though.

Very similar to the Hartge steering wheel available for the E92 M3.

I have the yellow stripe on my Cayman's GT3RS alcantara wheel. It's for visual reference at the track. Helpful when your crossed up and countersteering a slide, also a good learning aid when learning to unwind the wheel on exit, also helpful for those who shuffle steer. But mainly, it looks racy and you get to explain how racy you are when people ask about it.

Similar, but this one looks like its got better quality leather (notice how smooth it is compared to the other). I love the wheel, but don't like the Hartge logo stamped on it. Crap!!!

I can't find this new thread in the vendor section. You could've just posted pricing in this thread.

I Pm'd twice for more info and never got anything, plus the website has nothing. It's dumb to advertise stuff on here and then have no customer service...

The Hartge looks like better quality anyway, much thicker and nicer leather, looks like I'm going with that one.

hey guys, sorry if you have not recieved a reply, we are still working out details and finishes for these wheels, that is why they have not been posted in the vendor section yet. This wheel shown in this thread is basically a prototype, to gauge interest and get feedback. As soon as the details are sorted, they will be up for sale. If you would like to take a look at these in person, call our office and ask to speak to TOM, we are located in Irvine

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your patience, we have been flooded with PMs regarding the wheels and are just catching up today.

Expect a reply through myself or Jurrian later this afternoon. For those that wish to see the wheels in person and are located in the Santa Ana area, feel free to stop by.

Agree that although nice it doesn't look like wheel meant for an ///M but rather for a 335i. Lets see some tri-color stiching to match, then it may look better.

I could careless about the color of the stitching (though it is a nice bonus). I'd rather have a better feeling (read: shape of wheel in my hands) steering wheel given the choice. Back then I had a Honda S2000 & replaced it w/a Sparco Extreme 2 steering wheel, it made driving even more enjoyable but that's just me.

I was so excited when I found this link...only to be disappointed by what I found. I would love if I had my current M3 e92 wheel, but the bottom of the wheel was shaped like a euro-spec RS4, or a US R8 for that matter. Frankly the flat on the bottom is hardly noticeable in the photos. Also, if memory serves this looks very similar to the Hartge wheel. Hopefully BMW will come out with one on their own.

Also, Brandon, if you are hoping to sell any of these it is best not to seem angry when someone poses a question. Again, tone is a difficult thing to get across on a post so I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, but as a prospective customer my first reaction when I saw your post was "F this guy. I'm not buying anything from him."
