Looking to get into a M3
Looking to get rid of my 335i for an M3. Anybody know anyone interested in trading or buying my 335i? I just test drove an M3 and I loved it so now I really want one!!! Any suggestions would be great.

Lol I'm hoping just cause of all the performance, tunes, and bolton options, you can put on the 335i which in turn end up being faster then an M3. I just love the way an M3 sounds!!

I don't recall you asking me very much about my car. Yeah my car was dirty, but that does not mean it's not being maintained. At least my car is totally stock and hasn't had it's engine molested by a million mods and tunes. I can take my car to the dealer and not worry about my warranty getting shreded. Were you the one who was just bragging about all the mods you'd done to your car ?

Straight line for now. Depends on the driver on a track. But doesn't matter now because I will be now getting either an e60 M5 or E9x M3. I got approved looking forward to getting into an M!!!

Huyner since you have had an M3 for awhile what are some things I should look out for when purchasing? Also, is it recommended to go with DCT or manual. I was looking at the manual in the E60 M5 but I know the trannys have a tendancy to over heat with the manual. Any issues with the M3 on that? Carmax has an AW E92 09 for 51,900. Is that to high or a good deal. Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to make sure I get as much insight from M owners so I know what to look for. Thanks.

There are '09s on here for less than 51,900. I got mine in December Got real lucky with finding a buyer for the 335.
Personally, I love DCT. I've been a MT guy all my life but once I drove DCT... I knew I wasn't going back to MT. Issues, nothing really plaguing... maybe the differential noise but that is remedied by changing out fluids. Main reason why I went to the M3 was the ease of maintenance, in comparison to a N54 335. Carbon build up was just something I didn't want to deal with overtime and I was ready to purchase a car that I'd keep for an indefinite period of time. I'd say the last N/A M3 would be a nice collector car. The V10 is nice and all but meh, V8 is just as good and a wealth of better fuel economy.
