Sounds like SMMR had you at HELLO. haha I keep telling everyone here that it's a great track that you gotta hit up (it's like Buttonwillow/Chuckwalla but nicer and not in the middle of nowhere). I'll go if you come out to BW this weekend.

I hear that they are running CCW at Chuckwalla. Those bastards at PCA Orange Coast were supposed to run CCW at Chuckwalla when I was there on Sept 30th but changed it last minute to CW.

Cancel BRP & register for CVR! I ran BRP 5 straight times & am BRP'd out for now. BRP CCW was a lot of fun, though

I did 3 days at CVR on Sept 28-30th so I'm CVRed out. I haven't done BRP 13CW since July so I'm itching to go back. I wish they weren't on the same weekend so I could do both.

How far is Red Rock to Spring Mountain?
If I bring the wife, it won't count as a track weekend.

You going out to the PCA Las Vegas event next week? I'm thinking about it but I am doing Buttonwillow this weekend so I may not be up for it. I like to track one weekend a month so that way I keep and grow the desire to hit the track.
Usc you doing speedventures this saturday? Ill be in the slow black m3 sedan. Gotta check out your car.

It's about 45 miles from the track (40 minutes or so). Ensuring that she keeps busy until you get back will help for it not to count as a track weekend (Bora Park is a nice shopping center just down Charleston that she can spend hours at).

Yeah, I'll be up at Buttonwillow both Sat & Sun (I'm driving up fright night). What group are you running in? Black (I'll be in the Black group)? Come by and say hi (look for the white GT3 with NV plates).

Man, I don't know how some of you guys do 2 consecutive days on a given track, let alone 3.

It was struggling on Monday, my whole upper body was soar. The rush kept me going but I did have to soak in the jacuzzi for an hour when I got back. I wanted to get the most out of the weekend since I never went to CVR before.

Lets not get out of hand now!!!
She does enough damage spending hours at the outlets.
She always reminds of of the extra wheels in the garate, the tires I keep getting, the brake pads...

Here's what you can do to shut her up...

"At least I'm not spending that money on a mistress (or hookers and booze)."

Last time I pulled that line, we didn't speak for at least a month. Ah...A month of bliss without her b*tching about my mountain of tires and brake pads and car parts.

And if that doesn't work, you can always use the "Well it's not as bad as a crack cocaine habit."

You can't argue against that.

Although, I probably would leave the fact that Spring Mountain is just a stone's throw away from Bunny Blue Ranch, as featured on HBO's raunchy series "Cathouse," out of the conversation entirely.

My two buddies who are both running grey 2011 E92s signed up for the purple group too. As long as you time is anywhere near the top of the purple group and/or lower half in the black group they'll let you move up. If I get close to a 2-minute lap then I might ask to move up to green, but if I'm running closer to 2:05 then I'll stay in black because there are a few cars that will run those times too.

The gov't shutdown hit 1/2 (the bigger half) of our income (contractor employee's don't get paid when they aren't at work) so I won't be going to the PCA event at Spring Mountain.

So that's where the bunny ranch is. I've seen parts of a few episodes... not the best talent out there.
