First I've heard if this. Thanks for the heads up. My fronts are almost gone and I was about to get new ones.

It's supposed to be on the Michelin PSS performance level at around half the price, Afew motorists in uk are using them on aston martins and prefer them to be better than the top Pirelli p zero's in every department. I will try them on my m3 when my conti's are worn out. The previous ultrac sessanta were amazing rubber and these were reviewed in uk as better in every segment than ultrac sessanta's. Anybody heard anything or any revews about the new VORTI tyres?

Does anyone know how much these weigh relative to PSSs of equal size?

285/30-19s are available, though. I've been running the 275/35-19 PS2 for a while, and I still break traction. I've been waiting for Michelin to release the PSS in 285/30 but I'm tired of waiting, as I'm down to 2mm of tread. Might be something for you to consider, aus.

interesting...
for those wanting 275/35 rear setup, you should get the 285/30 as they are the oem gts tire size on the same zcp rim we are using. if it is good enough for bmw, it should be good enough for us . the 285 would give wider contact and the 30 ratio compensates for the taller height so it still looks even with the 255/35 front.

And as hl0m4n mentions, it's the OEM tire size for the GTS. Again, does anyone know the weight of these tires relative to the PSS?

This is the best site for Vredestein tires. The Vortis are much cheaper @ $224 vs $246. I have purchased 4 sets of tires from them without any issues.
Here is a direct link: http://www.groupawheels.com/ProductD...c-48c3b3f8e3de Sucks...I just got rears last month...wish I knew about these :-( But I need fronts. This is the best calculator that I have found...all tire/wheel parmeters considered. The best is that it provides the difference in current and new setup so that you can model any setup. This should be a sticky in all wheels/tire sections http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127460 -Dave Last edited by Digitalwok; 07-18-2012 at 01:12 PM.. |

Just talked with Performance Plus in Long Beach, and they have them now too.
I need fronts too. Like Digitalwok, I just got rears a few months ago!! .

Turns out the new Vreds run about $40/tire less than a Super Sport for the fronts. Not sure about the rears. $80 is still a decent dinner. Just have to see how they compare to the SuperSports. The SS do come with a 30,000 mile pro-rate warranty.

Yep. SuperSports are way cheaper than the PS2's.
Not sure what the price difference is for the rears but Vred doesn't make 275/35-19 for the stock wheels.

Where did you find the Super Sports for under $300? The best I could find was around the $400 mark?
