You're right. SC is definitely the way to do it. Congrats!

Jet Black with the Comp wheels look NICE!!!!! I also like the interior options you selected. You had the courage to select both the Jet Black (hard color to care for) and Moonroof given you wouldn't see the CF anyway. Good job!

Not really the right thread but you can do both ED and PCD at no extra cost.

Stay safe with it (I guess you'd know about that sort of thing) and have fun.

Cheers, bro. One thing's for sure: after driving this car the way they instruct you to at PCD, I'm absolutely certain I'd NEVER drive it like that.

These posts are killing me.
Thanks, and well worth the extra effort to do both. PM me if you'd like more details. And I can sympathize with the anticipation, it kills.

Hopefully I'll get Donny... I'll make sure he hears of the post.
Congrats!
I hope so, but I wouldn't want to detract from the other instructors, because everyone else had HUGE grins on their faces from their experiences, too. We were chattering like crazy at what we were doing over lunch and they were freaking loving it.

To the OP congrats and are you driving all the way back to San Diego?

I drove it to Virginia to store temporarily while I find out where the Navy will send me next (long story). And thanks, I absolutely agree, car enthusiasts will cry for MOAR after this experience.

Thanks bro, my thoughts exactly. And it's not that I don't like the CF roof, I DO, it's just that my color choice wouldn't do it justice. I'll take a pic of the moonroof when it's retracted soon. These wind deflectors pop up and spoil the curves of the car to reduce cabin wind-blast. I never saw that on m3post.com and, frankly, it was an unpleasant surprise. But I can definitely get used to it.

Well, the road trip is done with 680 miles put on the car. I over-revved once to 6K rpm showing off for a friend (Doh. ) and took it through some switchbacks in North Carolina. All in all, a pretty good break-in so far. Can't wait to finish it and really blast off after servicing it.

I will say that I'm going to put some wider rear tires on when my stock ones wear out. The lip of the 359M (ZCP) rim is jutting out MUCH further than the tread, which is just wrong to me.

Thanks for the compliments!
