Rebate Check through BMW CCA_ Time's ticking!

Well, I missed the boat. I've been a BMW CCA member since the purchase of my first BMW, 2001-330, and continued through my 2004-M3, and now the 2008- M3.

It seems I've been oblivious to that fact that BMW NA will send you a rebate check on new purchases (believe $500 for M cars) upon delivery of your vehicle.

Unfortunately, you must submit your application within 60 days of your delivery date.....I'm at 80 days on my e92; and never knew on my e46M; so there goes a $1k.

In case any of you didn't already know, read the below link and take advantage of this if you can. If you already did know....then luck you.

That sucks!

By the way, the rebate on the M3 is $500. This is the first time the rebate has been offered on any M3.

Ya, i stated it was $500 on the M's (counted my last e46M to get to the $1k), but it does make me feel better that this was the first time offered.....hah!

Thanks!

I never heard of this program either but it's too late for me to get the reward since you had to have been a member for at least a year prior. Thanks for the heads up. I'll join anyways.

You need to be a member of BMWCCA for a year before you are eligible. Join, it's worth it. BMWCCA is great and Roundel is worth the money by itself.

Have you ASKED them to honor it anyway? Might not hurt! (be sure to point out how many cars youve bought from dealerships

I called prior to posting this thread; and the BMW CCA rep gave a stern "no, sorry sir, the check is issued through BMW NA and unfortunately the guidelines are very strict, it is it out of our hands."

I am however going to call a rep I know at BMW NA on Monday; figure the headache of a 5 minute phone call to them could be worth the $500+ I may be able to recoup.
