Wow, you're a lucky guy.
My parents said buck up and work for what you get, that way you'll deserve it.

I went to M school in South Carolina a copule of years ago, they picked me up at the airport in an M5 and then to the hotel, then the intro, the next day you learn some drills like heel and toe and practice them, you get one of each of the M cars, at the time I got the Z M, M Coupe, M3 and M5, you use each for different activities to explore each car attributes, last day is at the michelin test trak dry and wet lake, you get to drive with arace car driver and its just amazing, then you race against the clock to see who is faster, its pretty cool experience and they give you a Simpson helmet, jacket, shirts, hats etc. I plan to go again but I have to wait until they get the new M3 which I'm buying.

to go to the ring it would cost more to get there (im assuming) and the package that they offer to go to BMW M-school is pretty good. although i would like to see germany, but i just think that it would be more expencive. mind you i could be wrong

$942 Roundtrip if you leave a month from now (Boston to Frankfurt). That was just my first search, you could probably find better rates. How much does ///M school cost again...
I'm not docking ///M school at all. I'd love to do it...but if you would prefer germany and you're worried about the price...I don't think it's as bad as you think it is.

I would try & schedule the driving school w/ delivery of my M3, that way I make the whole delivery experience that much more memorable, then after your done drive it back to CT....thats probably what I'm going to do, I've thought about taking ED but driving on the autoban & breakin periods don't mix so I'll just drive drive back to NJ via blue ridge pkwy & deals gap & make breakin fun not hell...

Break-In on the autobahn isn't that bad. The only thing that would kill you is gas prices for driving it around, and the break-in service that would come out of your pocket. You could knock out the break-in in a couple days if you wanted to. After that it's friggin on

Oh and that is a Graduation present from high school… I’m slightly spoiled, but I try not be a brat. I do a lot of work. I currently trade my own portfolio where all my money goes, I’m up 10% YTD :rocks:, I work at a Fund of Funds in NYC its awesome experience, I’m going to business school next year (Santa Clara university), and I might get a connection to yahoo, which is almost across the street from my school, for an internship during school, through the guys a work with now. I’m working everyday all day and doing the same things (well close) as the other analysts but not being paid! So please don't call me a spoiled brat, I really try not to be, I’m just blessed .
Anyhow thanks for all replies guys, I’m sooo excited to drive one of these new cars they are going to be BEASTS I’m sure of It!! And I think the M-Driving school is just easier to get to although I have always wanted to visit Germany, one day ill get over there…. I think M-Driving school is about $4,000 so it’s pretty expensive, does anyone know what the one in Germany would cost? |
