Post Shipping Wheels+Tires, need advice packing

As the title states, I need to ship 19" wheels with tires using Fedex. Need advice on how to go about packing the wheels securely to avoid any damage during shipment. What's the best way to protect the face? Just use cardboard or is foam better? Thanks for the help. Greatly appreciated.

Well when I recieved my wheels they where all wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard, also they put slabs of wood between each wheel which made it heavy but more protected.

Tire Rack just wraps two weeks together with thick cardboard on the sides.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I typed ''how to ship wheels'' in google, and it came up a few pretty good sites with instructions. Good to know.

I think I'm using this forum too much that I'm forgetting to rely on google.

Cover outer and inner faces with thick cardboards, then use plastic wrap all around and tape.

FedEx now requires all packages to be "fully enclosed". Hence the wrap.
