I think most would rather see the backing plates in aluminum...mostly a cost issue.

I too would rather have aluminum, assuming the cost is significantly lower as a result. The CF is beautiful though.

when i purchase a kit, i will want an aluminum backing plate. i have a couple of months the 2013 to show up, so i can wait to see what develops with the suppliers.

Any news here? Their site shows a few interesting pieces, what seems to be a control arm-hugging duct for the backing plate...
