For me, Laguna Seca (...MRLS) is one of the only tracks that I can go to, not repeat or improve my PB and still leave satisfied. I've been stuck at 1:45 for a month but I have plenty of excuses if you want to hear why

My favorite excuse is Miatas at T11...
Best I've done was a 1:43:925. That day I was running pretty consistent 1:44's.

I, too, have an arsenal of excuses. Lol.
First, it was tire pressures. I was also running in too high of a run group for an open sound limit day at laguna, too many damn race cars, viper acr's, and Porsche factory race cars. I feel guilty like I'm ruining someone's hot lap and give a lot of passes.

Tell me about it. Just to show how effective a sim can be, my very first session at MRLS, I ran a 1:45.7. I couldn't improve on that until the last session of the next day when I ran a 1:45.5. It's definitely a fun track though.

Do you run the DS2500 in the rear with the XR1 up front?

xr1 up front with ds1.11's on the oem rear.

however, this is about to change. i'm about to pull the trigger and complete my essex ap bbk with the matching rear kit and run xr1's in the front and xr2's in the rear.
i'll likely run ds2500's front and rear for the street.

Between 9 & 10 is where a lot of time is lost. Have to push yourself there (I know I do) or time is easily lost.

Turn 3 is my slowest. It's flat and my fat car doesn't like it.

Had a great day at Laguna Seca today with Speed SF. Just my 2nd time there and really worked on my braking this time. Looking forward to breaking into the 1:4x times, and doing it safely! Was a 105 dB day, lots of crazy race cars like a really cool Porsche, a GTS E46 M3, handful of vipers, McLarens, a Ferrari or two, and some Lamborghinis. Crazy day.

I had fun following a gray E9x M3 in session 4. Somebody here?

Turn 6 scares me, turn 5 would be next. Working my way up slowly to be more comfortable with it
