Highly recommend you bring your beast to the track to get the most fun
out of it. Look into NASA AZ and ProAutosports clubs that run the local
AZ and CA circuits, both are excellent groups. Inde Motorsports Ranch down
in Wilcox is a great track! Hope to see you at one of the AZ events.

Cheers,

Axis

RD46 is like low 500hp range and nice bump in tq. I had a ride in an RD46 once, it felt so great. Like how it should have come from factory.

Agree, there was still so much more to be squeezed out of the S65, but Ms have historically had pretty small engines, relatively speaking.

I actually have run NASA before, but only HPDE 2, and have good friends pretty active.

I have drifted quite a bit over the years too, though I just sold my track car to build my next project and I doubt I'll drift the M3, ha.

haha, thanks all!

I'm up for meeting sometime with the AZ folks fo sure!

I'm a fan of the wheels also, they aren't the typical RD 20's, they are a bit different.

I put some time into her fixing some small things yesterday. Working on an audio setup and fixing a slight crack that looks bad under the clear bra in the middle of the lip, going to be a pain...

Thanks! I am curious about your stereo upgrade. Where was it done and what did you have done?

Also, how are those coilovers?

It wasn't really listed, it was the owner's car and he had only put it on his site with his posting program, it hadn't yet linked with autotrader and all that. He also doesn't use CL.

He has an awesome M5 right now though it would be tough with emissions because it is catless. Munich Motors in Central Phoenix

Did you happen to see the matte blue m3 at Luxury Motorsports a few months ago? I ALMOST pulled the trigger on that, it was beautiful. Actual Matte Blue paint, not a wrap, and brighter not darker blue... just awesome. Then I drove the RS46 and it was over.

I got the stereo upgrade thru Chad at Audio Sensations in Peoria. He works on a lot of high end cars and does outrageous custom work. He had my car for the entire month of January.....but it was so worth it. Here's what I had done:

-JL Audio amplifier XD7005. 5 channel class D.
-JL Audio 10 TW3 Dual Royce Thin Line Subwoofer
-Audio control digital sound processor.

I have an E93, so my trunk space was limited. You should see the custom work he did in there. He also installed lights that are controlled with a remote control with a zillion buttons. The system sounds so good that I'm torn between blasting it or listening to my exhaust note!

The coilovers are fantastic. I really need to post some pix of how great the car looks now. I notice a big difference in how the car handles with them on.

Next time you come down to the Phoenix area, let me know. We can meet up and I can show you everything.
