I would sell the 1M as-is IMO. It's so unique that it deserves to be sold as-is.

Congrats. You will like it. I didn't at first in stock condition but seeing what you do with cars, it will look sick.

I can so relate. When I was in my 20s I was in the same boat as you with tastefully modifying cars. My NSX and S2000 were show quality and won awards and the magazines. I didn't skimp at all. I could have easily went Porsche or Lambo but we are young and its nice to try out as many nice vehicles as you can. Then you really know what you want and have.

Rare indeed! Was thinking of doing a Dakar E90 M3 when I was ordering ours and seeing an some examples in Europe, but we ended up with Fire Orange since my wife hates the milky yellow.

Oh, and a friend is considering your Dakar 1M which I hope it works out because I want to see it in person!

Yes of course it is legal, if you like you can go to the dmv and change the color on your registration.
