Aha! Found something that should be useful. Two pics:

1) Full image showing me just after one of the Corkscrew apexes, full load on the driver's side:

2) Zoomed in on the same shot. You can see the suspension is compressed pretty significantly. I don't see any bulging... also worth noting is the space between the fender. Towards the end of the season I started contemplating spacers. There's plenty of room with the stock setup before needing to roll fenders (which I have not done).

i believe the m3 GTS is running 285/30/19 not 35. so my opinion is that 285/30 is a better size than 285/35.
Actually I was rubbing quite bad originally..I had to raise the car a tad bit and adjust the camber. As it stands I'm still rubbing on major dips(talking MAJOR). I wish they came out with a 275/35/19 size cause I really like these tires. They're still doing fine in this ~3 degrees weather...granted I warm them up a little before I really drive.

I've seen 285/35/19 on the stock M3 wheels and it looked beefy but definitely did not bulge.

Great pic dnvrdrvr!

if you are lowered, going for 275/30/19 shouldnt be a problem at all, its a little small in terms of overall diameter compared to stock but not by much...
or try nitto nt05, they come in 275/35/19 and have very similar performance to re11s.

thanks for the input, I'll be going 255/35 front and 265/35 rear

Alright after consideration, I'll be going for a set of RE-11's 255/35 front and 285/35 rear on the stock rims thanks everyone for the input, especially dnvrdrvr for the great pics

just read above post.. guess it does work. im running 275 width NT-05's look pretty nice and definitely "squared up" look. i guess another 5 mm on either side would be too bad .
They will fit, it just won't be optimum. A 285 tire to be properly supported needs a 10" rim. However, minimum rim width is 9.5" for a 285 tire. A 285/35/19 is way to tall in my opinion...but opinions are like arse holes..everyone has them.

265/35/19 will rub up front..not for being to wide but for being to tall. Also, a 265 tire on a 8.5" rim is unwise..any crispness the front turn in had will be gone. Not to mention the minimum rim width for a 265 is 9" not 8.5".

No sweat..I just didn't want to see a post later saying my 265/35/19s rub up front.. When I put my 255/35s on they barely, I mean barely clear the inner fender liner.

Not sure what your question is... are you asking about putting 245's up front and 285's in the rear? Or mixing tires (PS2's up front, RE-11s in back)? You can do the first, don't think I would be alone in recommending against the second.

I thought I'd chime in on this.

I just installed 285/35/19's on the stock rears. Looks fantastic. Obviously not everyone is a fan of a thicker sidewall. If you are, this setup is right up your alley.

As of right now I have Continental CS3's up front (245/35/19's). I cant definitely feel the car "shift" slightly from time to time due to difference in tread and wear. It's nothing major, but I decided to go with the same PS2 tire up front in a 255/40/19. I'm looking forward to the same sidewall thickness up front, increased grip, and uniform wear/tread.

Will chime in once the fronts are installed next week.
