Dyno thread for various Tuners

Folks,

For those of us with stock or slighly modified E9x M3's on the fence or trying to decide who to go with for the many Tuner options we have available to us, it would be great to have a consolidated thread for Dyno results. I know all tuners are not equal and some customize tunes to individuals driving styles and likings. But while butt dyno impressions are subjective and equipment can vary with absolute readings, actual before/after graphs can back those impressions up and provide measurable gains.

Here are a few Tuners I have been reading about recently, and I am sure there are more you guys can add to the list (in no particular order):

ESS, Mike Benvo, Evolve, VF Engineering, Velos, GIAC, Active Autowerke, Dinan

So if you are in the mood to give back to the community and show what your hard earn money got you, please feel free to post away. Obviously completely stock before/after graphs would be best, but if you deviate from stock, just note the mods!

Happy posting, and congrats on the tunes!

Yeah, I had posted it in this thread but it was apparently deleted for whatever reason.

I noticed a lot of new tunes coming out recently. Makes me wonder if someone is selling a tune to venders to package and sell as their own. Wish there was a way to know who is doing their own R&D on a tune before worrying about dynos of them all. I wouldn't want to buy software from a company that didn't put lots of R&D into it themselves. Kind of off topic I guess, but I've been thinking about it every time I see someone post a review about some new tune from a company I've never heard of.

What the hell I remember you posted it and were kind enough to contact someone from that site regarding the filter issue someone else had mentioned. http://www.bmwdynodatabase.com/

No such thing that I'm aware of. I know for certain that Mike and Sal both make their own.

This was talked about in another thread.

Here is one of our many Dyno's of our self made software.

VF has moved away from GIAC and been continuing non stop R&D for over a year now on their owning tuning with all of the supercharger kits and are now offering NA tunes to the E9X M3 followed by the E60 M5 and E70 X5M.

Actually, the decision was made over 2 years ago to bring all tuning in house for their BMW supercharger kits.

The HEX Flash for the N/A platforms was released just last week, since the VF540, VF620 and now VF650 supercharger kits have already been released.
