That C63 was actually drifting a lot more in the game. The GT-R has every single upgrade possible (Hint: Do the Turbo race in expert mode at the Driving Ring or whatever it is called for easy money, 36,000 for 3 minutes of driving). Too bad i have about 1CR left and some real work left to attend to for now.

For all you 135i fans, here is my car in GT5. If only they didnt use the standard 135i model and instead used the M-Sport, this would be an exact depiction of my car in real life, lol.

And this one to show the level of detail in the game. You can see the writing in the lens of the HIDs and the reflection of the track ahead!

It's free when you do the Historic Race thing in B Spec.

That's right. My B-spec driver had to drive the wheels off the Toyota 7 to keep up with the Chaparrals.

I still need to get a historic car for those races. It sucks when they're all 20 million. Maybe a heavily modded Countach will work....

I doubt if a Countach would be competitive in the historic car race. I tried with a modded Shelby Cobra and it was left for dead...at the start line.

If you're up to level 21 on B-spec, the prize for winning "Like the Wind" is a Toyota 7 race car. You can use that for the historic car race but you really need to push your driver because those Chaparrals are quick.

That's right, the historic race in A-spec is giving a lot of people problems. I hear there are two good solutions.

1. If you are an excellent driver, fully mod out the countach and you stand a strong chance. To make it easier on yourself, keep restarting until the 2J or Toyota 7 do not appear at the front of the grid.

2. The '69 Camaro (premium) that can be purchased at the dealership can be modified into a race car. Apparently, people with average skill can pretty easily beat the competition with this car fully modded.

Both of these options are much cheaper than purchasing a historic race car.

I finished the historic races with the Ferrari P4 or whatever it is. The Ferrari was a handful, but soft slicks helped with the handling a little. Those races all comes down to where the faster cars are placed in the starting grid.

I heard that GT is giving away 3 chrome line cars (free DLC) starting Dec. 24th. It's been confirmed for Japan, but I think we are still awaiting confirmation in the US and EU. The three cars are:
- Lambo LP640
- BMW M3
- Jaguar XJ13

I bet that Jaguar would do well in the historic race. I dont know if I have the patience to wait 3 days though.
