I just picked up my accord from progressive after being hit by a lady. The total cost + supplement = $8,850.00

Total value of my '00 accord ~$10,000.00

Originally They said that the total cost of damage should be 75% of the value of the car but when i picked up the car, they are now going back on their story saying the "if the car is 6 years or older, the damage should equal 100% of the total cash value of the car"

However, the virginia DMV site states otherwise.

"Every owner of an uninsured or self-insured late model vehicle that sustains damage in excess of 75 percent of the actual cash value must apply to DMV for a salvage certificate"

defination of a late model vehicle:

""Late model vehicle" means the current-year model of a vehicle and the six preceding model years, or any vehicle whose actual cash value is determined to have been at least $7,500 prior to being damaged. "
