I believe anyone who has owned any kind of sports car has exceeded the speed limit or at one point has driven wreck less.. Even if it was 95mph on the wAy to Vegas... I love how people act like they always drive 65mph on the highway.

Ignorance is bliss when it comes to the GTR it seems. A lot of people commenting on how they wont test drive it, out of fear of liking it. BMW wont break up with you if you try another car brand. Trust me.

I like my M3...but your weakness in cars comes when you cant let go of something. attachment is fun until you figure out when it is time to move. Regardless the GTR is just a ridiculously astonishing car. It has just more brut to it.
If you really like cars you want THEM ALL. lol |

I love the GTR, but honestly I have no desire to own one myself. I like changing gears myself, love RWD, and just have no desire to own such a heavy car regardless of the performance numbers. I've taken a 25 minute ride in a GTR at Laguna Seca so I know what it's capable of. It's just not for me.

Yes, GT-R definitely has an exotic feel to it when you are standing next to it. Maybe that's part of the mystique; we know this thing is damn powerful. I also noticed that the fit and finish is quite good, which is surprising for a Nissan.

Yes! That's what I thought too. The GTR is a great car and I've driven plenty of them, most of them modified. But it really needs to be driven fast to fully appreciate it. I still prefer the E92 M3 as a daily driver.

Do you work for the police? If not, can you please stop acting like you are a traffic cop on this forum. Thanks.

Well, I doubt you can justify 140 MPH but certainly when the 55/65 limits were established the cars were absolute garbage. The speed limits are set for the lowest common denominator. No doubt you have come across some downright scary drivers and unsafe vehicles doing 65.
The reality is that it's quite safe for a modern car and decent driver to exceed 65 despite what some agencies would lead you to believe. |
