I'm running the 275/35x18 RS-3's on 18x10 Forgelines. Before the 'kook's, I had the same size Star Spec Dunlops. I would suggest running the wider rubber. That extra 10mm makes a difference, especially at turn-in. The RS-3's are probably a bit stickier than the Dunlops, especially once they have some heat in them, but the Dunlops work great right from the start, regardless of temperature.
