Question Want powder coat ZCP to RED on SSII.

I'm thinking about powder coat my ZCP wheel to RED on my SSII car. What do you guys think? Currently it is black, and I am tired of the look, want something bright.

As a daily wheel I wouldn't do it. SSII and red are a bad match IMO. But, if it is for track use I say go for it. In fact I'm considering some loud ass color for my track wheels........Phil

I think that would be hideous, but it's your car, if you want to then do it.

Depends on the shade of red. If it were something dark or muted like Imola Red, I think it could work. If so, I definitely think it'd be better than black. This current murdering out trend is all-pervasive and generally sacrifices a lot of the character of these cars and wheels. Just sayin'.

Have you thought of doing a plastidip in red. It would be a cheap and easily reversible way to try it out before you do a fully permanent solution. Google search that and you will find tons of info. People have even plastidip'd entire cars with good results.

I did plastidip it in black as it is now. I don't want to waste time to clean and paint it again.
