Motons Installed, Alignment and Corner Balance DONE!

Finally after tracking my car so much, I have learned more about suspension and finally pulled the trigger.

I went to R's Tuning in Irvine and man these guys BLEW me away.

I didn't know crap about suspension, corner balance or ANYTHING. Leo and Ricky taught me so much, I'm SO happy I went there.

Now I'm doing my homework and seeing which spring rates I will be going with. I'm thinking 500/800. or 600/800. Anyone have any feedback?

I'm running:

Moton SS Struts
Hyperco 800lb race springs - front
Eibach 1100lb race springs - rear
KW Clubsport Camber Plates
KW CS Perches/Original Moton Perches

Thanks Brian for hanging out and schooling me too!

Anyone in Socal, Check these guys out. Really REALLY Nice guys, Very knowledgeable and you get to play gt5 while they work on your car.

Cool little instagram photo

Last but not least:

Corner Balance.

This is with me in the car.. Next mod, start gutting the car and getting some weight off.. Also need to go with a square set up!

How the car currently sits.. Dirty as hell:

Excited to break these bad boys in on Saturday!

Congrats tightie. Man 1100 spring rate on the rears? wow. I had tck d/a 750/800 on my E46 M3 and they were very firm, just the way I liked it. How are the spring rates you are running? Are they ok driving on the streets? Have you tracked them already? Any feedback? Thinking about this setup on my E92 M3. Your car is going to feel like its on rails with this setup at the track. Very nice set-up. Congrats on it!

Are you using the factory front sway bar end links? The Moton SS2 uses a short damper body so if the factory end links are used the front sway bar won't be positioned properly. I believe end links (recommend adjustable) that are 9.5-10" long should be used.

Thanks again Ricky, the car is honestly awesome.. Crazy stiff but awesome. I'm going to probably pull the trigger on the springs after the track on Saturday.

The spring rates are really high, I like them alot. I just think I need a softer spring since the car is bouncing under WOT (Supercharged car has enough trouble putting power down on soft springs)

They are alright for driving on the streets. Fun thats for sure. I'm going to track them on Saturday and report back. I'll probably do a few ride alongs with other M3's and different rates to see how I feel. Man, I love track days.. Get to do homework on suspension now lol

I'm not sure, I'll find out tomorrow morning.
