By the way, the DA at Famoso, according to the hand-held weather meter I was holding, didn't drop below 900 ft as humidity rose to 64% near the end of the session. Dragtimes's DA Calculator is a bit off as they collect the weather info for McFarland from the nearest airport, which is a good distance away from the track.
Mo, you are such an awesome guy, your passion for cars is contagious! Wuv you Brotha! Can't wait for the next event. So the DA was actually a bit higher at the track, good to know, thanks man. You saw the car was at full weight as well?

Thanks Drew, it was great seeing your car run down the track and it was even greater seeing everyone break their own records that night.... everyone except myself that is.... I wish my car could've hit 11s that night but I think the tires I borrowed from Juicee were just too tall. They rubbed when launching hard. Ah well, there is always next time.

Yeah the DA was higher than dragtimes' calculator thinks it was. Most of your runs were done at 1000+ ft of DA. In the last 20 minutes or so, it did drop to 932 ft. We started out with 1370 ft. I was taking measurements every 15 minutes or so like a mad man, so I should know

And yes, the car was full weight.... except for that NOS bottle.... j/k

Awesome times.
There is one more TNT this month next Friday 5/27. My luck again, the night temperatures on that night are going to be about 10 degrees higher than the night before. But still at 65F or so, not too bad. And we all know how forecasts can change. But if it cools off, im definitely going. And it would be awesome to have another late night event. Would even be nicer if Drew and I can both hit 10's on the same night!

It'd be even nicer if you, Drew, and Travis (458 Italia) can hit 10s all on the same night You guys are all so close... The 458 Italia hit 11.1x at least three times that night and he did it without being able to perform a standing burnout on any of the launches. He did do mini rolling burnouts though, but they were just not as effective as a good standing burnout. What's even more amazing is that he was running on stock 20" wheels with stock low-profile tires

Seeing him run was awesome, what a machine, and a great guy as well, would love to see us all hit 10's. One thing to note though is that he was hitting 1.7 60's and he does have the weight of the engine on his rear tires, I believe he would have hit a 10.9 had he not shifted early on his last shift before the finish. If Warren or I had hit a 1.7 60', I think we would have hit a 10.9.

I will be installing some GT-R mods soon. Looking to hit over 600WHP in the next month or so and then plan to upgrade the turbos next year.
