Rub with oversize tire question
I have a 2011 E90 with ZCP. I'm contemplating using 220M wheels with Continental DWS 255/35/19's up front and 275/35/19's in the back for winter driving when the roads are clear of snow.
From my review of forum posts it appears they will fit okay without any rubbing. Am I correct on this? If there was some rubbing where would it likely occurr and could it be eliminated by adding spacers? Thank you |

If there was rubbing in the rear, spacers would make the rubber worse.....
those tires will fit fine and you can put them on the ZCPs as well. you don't need to get 220s, unless you want to

Those sizes work fine with AD08s on ZCP rims. Every tire model is different, though.

the 275/35/19 will work in the rear I've also seen 255/35/19 Front work as well as long as you have sufficient negative camber You can fit a 275/30/19 AD08 in the front if you don't mind rubbing on full lock, have a great deal of negative camber, coilovers so your springs are smaller, etc..

Rear is fine with 275/35R19. Front should be fine as long as no lowering or spacers. Negative camber or removal of spacers usually fixes any issue that you might have.

I meant to use a 30 size profile. I must have typed 35 just cause I was originally thinking about something else My apologies To fix my mistake: 275/30/19 will fit with neg camber 255/35/19 should also fit, but a 265/30 is better (it's wider but shorter). Offset of the rim also plays a big role, but I believe ZCPs are +32? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it shouldn't be an issue with a +32. Though I would assume a offset in the mid 20s would be more ideal Also, from what I've noticed, e90s have more clearance, at least over e93s
