should be ok -- but I think it was LMB that mentioned not to exceed 26" OD in the front to clear the e9xm3's stingy front wheel well.
As davem3fan mentioned/asked above, the issue is with running OEM 265/40/18 rears in the front--folks have tried that and ran into issues--and the 40 aspect ratio tires have significantly larger OD than 275/35/18, so yes, the 35 aspect tire should be fine.

R: 18x10 TR w/NT-05 285/35-18 (5mm spacer)
Nice, why not square?

I am thinking:

F: 18x10 TR w/265/35-18 (no spacer)
R: 18x10 TR w/285/35-18 (no or 5mm spacer)

But would love to hear from you as to how does your setup work? Any issues with traction control, or is it just off all the time?

Actually I went a completely different route. For about six months I ran;

F: 18x9.5 R: 18x10, with 275/35-18 Nitto NT01s all around. I really liked the setup and the fact that its similar to the setup of M3 Grand Am cars helped me in the decision. However, I just mounted a new set of tires after running the NT01s until there was absolutely no tread left.

Now my setup is:
F: 18x9.5 w/265/35-18 Michelin PSCup
R: 18x10 w/285/30-18 Michelin PSCup

Will give some impressions once I can get to the track with my current setup, but after running TX hill country roads for about four hours today, I can say that staggered is a bit more forgiving.

I'm in the market for another set of 18" track wheels so that I can run some dedicated slick tires, hopefully in 275 up front and 295 in the rear.

^We'll see, those CCWs on your car look phenomenally purposeful (which is exactly my style). However, as we discussed months ago, I'd like to get the coilovers squared away before determining a new track tire/wheel setup.

i love ccw wheels too. apex is now coming out with a 10.5 arc-8 wheel too, so 18x10 front by 18x10.5 rear wd be a nice setup.

I have 265 and 295 ad08s and that still allows some rotation, not a lot of understeer, although I think 275 - 295 or 275 - 285 would be better

coil overs! Now we are talking. What are you thinking about getting?

Too bad you can't make it this weekend. Otherwise you could try out my car.

In reference to this weekend, damn you sir

KW Clubsports and also considering a set of Bilstein PS110s as I've heard they handle rough roads (Harris Hill Road) a little better than KWs. Motons cut into my "JC Wants a GT3" savings account too much. Will be picking up a second hand Z71 Tahoe or maybe Yukon Denali soon as a Houston daily if I end up here long term, so might as well do coilovers on the M3. Also looking to install a bbk and I'm already sold on the Stoptech Trophy setup as thats what I had on my old S4.

still miss that car

I definitely had the apex wheels in mind due to the price, but it looks like December, maybe January before I can get my hands on a set.

Cool. If you need help installing I'd be glad to help. I can also hook you up on some ST.

Also, there should be another brand of 2-way, monotube dampers coming out soon. Should be in similar price range as KW.
