Considering purchase - advice needed
I am considering purchasing a 2011 e92 m3. It has 28k miles and it is still under warranty until next May. Vehicle history shows no accidents but the fuel injectors have been repaired twice and the catalytic converter has been repaired once. The dealer is reputable but is located cross country.

Unless it is at a discount why bother. There are plenty of 2011 cars with no issues. Sounds like previous owner used bad gas or had a bad tune.

The warranty will give you plenty of time to make sure everything is good. Neither of the repairs you mentioned are common on an M3. "Repaired twice" usually means the dealer screwed up the first time. Buying cross-country does take some of the fun out of getting a new car, due to all the nail-biting while you've spent cash on a vehicle that is not in your possession yet-- and especially if the buy is remote/unseen. Just waiting for the delivery truck will seem endless.

It is a bit of a discount as the price is about 3k lower than list value. When you factor in shipping cost some of that saving is negated, of course.
