bmw makes a custom cover for the e90 rear seat, don't see why it wouldn't work in the coupe. I have it and just took my dog in the car for the first time today. It works very well, I'll take pics if I can. You can also check out this link and select the right car, pick protection/covers and it's the universal rear seat cover.

I just stick a blanket on the back seat. The problem is that stupid center console on the back seat in the Coupe. Its such a waste of time. The poor guy tends to lay across it. Oh well. He's happy most of the time !

HI F***ING LARIOUS Well you could tell your girl she's not Paris Hilton ( or is she, , than give me her number and we will share ) so there is NO need to bring her dog every time you make a roadtrip. Let someone babysit the dog. Even if you find a good protection/basket/... your M3 will smell, cauz all doggs smell. (I dont hate dogs, but thats the truth). And the smell will not leave for a while!! Just like smoking. |

BMW does make dog restraints and they're on their site somewhere. Don't ask me how I found them, but I swear I wasn't looking for them. It's basically a harness that attaches to the safety belt. They were shown in an X5 so I'm not sure if they can be used in an ///M.
This is seriously a funny-a$$ thread for sure! |

You've got to be kidding me!
Your GF carries around a little yapper like PH? You need another GF. Seriously. It's not the little yappers fault you look like a PW M3 driver. It's the choice of a GF that thinks the little yapper is "hot". But I digress. Try this on for size. I think they are available in many different styles. I just happened to see this on the Audi World A8 forum (Yes, I am an old geezer. Thanks for asking.). Lil' yapper hammock. By the way, I have no problem carrying a dog around in my car. I used to travel everywhere with a Rhodesian Ridgeback and American Staffordshire Terrier. Rhodies and Dobermans are my favorite dogs; smart, mischievious, loyal.

Bmw makes a back seat cover that hooks on to the head rests of both the from and rear seats. It'll fit all the 3-series (what a shame, not //M exclusive), and all your back seats will be covered.

Ok - In my defense, the dog really doesn't go everywhere. But if we're going out to PA or Westchester overnight, the dog comes with us.
Of all the things that could possibly bother me about my relationship, the dog really isn't one of them. Did you ever wish you never posted a particular post? I vote this one for myself. Either way, I'd want to put it in a carrier - no way in hell it's going in a hammock. |

Good to see you can laugh over it. I regret more posts than I care to think about.

I can see your point, and defend your right to eat dog soup.
