First track day is in the books. It rained all day! What a blast!
I ran out of time to order and decided to just run my current setup which, correction, is 235/275 RE050A. I am not sure why the P/O put on such a weird size combo but it understeered like a pig! Another stock M3 was out there and I watched mid corner as he inched away, due to grip. I would catch on straights and braking but mid corner wasn't close. He had stock size michelins. Availability shows OEM sizes RE-11 coming in around $300 cheaper than +10 size AD-08R. Really tough decision. I need to decide this week. Another track day coming up soon. |

I've run PSS and AD08's on the street and track. PSS are great street tires. Horrible track tires. They grip, but they just get destroyed on the track. I wouldn't bother with PSS if you plan to do more than 2 track days a year. The only real downside of AD08's is they can get noisy.
