VT2-625 with exhaust whistle/screech

VT2-625 on E92 M3
Test pipes, secondary cats, X-pipe, resonators, and magnaflow mufflers.

Different than the slight supercharger whine or pitch, in the 5000-8000 rpm range under full throttle, I'm hearing a whistle or screeching noise almost like a distant tire losing traction (but no traction is being lost nor is there a traction light coming on in MDM mode). My installer confirmed that my belt is not slipping. The sound seems to be coming out the rear of my car rather than from the supercharger position itself. I'm just checking to see if this is a normal noise for this type of supercharger or is it a product of my exhaust setup? Thanks for your input.

Mark

Perhaps an exhaust leak causing a whistle? I have a vt2 625 with test pipes and AA exhaust, no whistle or anything from exhaust.

I have the same kit and no "whistles" that I've heard. I have a BOV that goes off when I'm off the throttle

My installer claims it's from the supercharger but my exhaust is custom and has been chopped and welded many times. It's likely my exhaust after reading your input. It is only while on throttle not coming off. I'll get that looked at again. Thanks.
