Post VAC - Open Track Days Starting 4/2/12 - NJMP

VAC Motorsports and Joey G Open Track Events

VAC Motorsports and Joey G are proud to host 6 true open track events at New Jersey Motorsports Park in 2012. This is a no-nonsense open track format with open passing and no run groups. Suite accommodations are available at a discount and garage space will be provided.

VAC will be present to offer pit lane support which includes:
-tire temp and pressure
-general set up advice
-alignment
-chassis set up
-suspension settings

Aaron Povledo will offer:
-track tour and tips
-data coaching
-in car video review
-set up advise
-classroom sessions

All attendees must have legitimate track experience and a valid competition license from SCCA, NASA, PCA, BMWCCA etc.

About NJMP: NJMP is 45 minutes from Philadelphia, and 2 hours from New York and Baltimore. For the motorsports enthusiast, NJMP offers 2 challenging road course circuits, a karting track and a skid pad.
Thunderbolt Raceway - The Southern Road Circuit at New Jersey Motorsports Park is our signature Thunderbolt Raceway featuring 2.25 miles of asphalt, 14 challenging turns, a one half mile straightway and approximately 40 acres of full service paddock space
Lightning Raceway - The 1.9 mile Northern Circuit is known as Lightning. This 10 corner circuit is fast and challenging featuring some of the most interesting and dramatic corners and elevation changes in the park.

This may be a dumb question, but for people without a competition license, we can't attend the events? Do you know if they have days for rookies with little track experience?

Hey man,

Since these are pretty exclusive events, we require a license or pretty extensive DE/school experience and a personal reference. There will be some screening if you do not have the license. This is not an elitist move, its all about safety.

Are you a member of any local club (BMWCCA, NASA, PCA etc) or do you run with any?
