You spend as much time cleaning the inside of the rear window trying to remove bugs & chunks of rubber as cleaning the rest of your car.

...you are on the left lane of the interstate and wondering why there is no blue flag being waved at the car in front
...you give an acknowledgment wave as you pass slower cars that pull over to let you by.

I got a new one after this weekend:
...when you know that plastic cover under your front bumper deflects and starts touching ground at about 210km/h (130mph), so you remind yourself to take it easy. |

...you wonder how much it would cost to find a nice used E46 M3, strip it, put on coil overs, new bushings, a free flow intake, ecu tune and catless exhaust, a BBK, 18" track wheels and tires, race seats with harnesses and a full cage. And then buy an adequate tow vehicle and trailer. And then expand your house with more garage bays for the E46 with trailer. And tow vehicle.
Oh, screw it. I'll keep on taking the E90 with rear booster seats and sippy cups to the track. |

When you're up late reading this thread and other such things on this forum when you should be in bed because you have to get up in 5 hours to get to the track the next day.

...you pull up to full service gas station, you pop the hood and tell the attendant that the brake fluid was changed last week.
...you stop at a rest stop and ask the driver in the next parking slot what pressures he's running.

I've had the same thing with several cars, my favorite was right after I started using slicks, a GTR guy wanted to know what kind of supercharger I had on my car (I'm bone stock)
