2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX MR - Apex Silver - 100% Stock - Pristine
Fellas, So since I finally have my new SGM E92 M3 it’s time to move on from my beloved 2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX MR. She is Apex Silver and I am the 2nd owner and have meticulously maintained and taken care of her. She is in pristine condition, always garaged, detailed throughout the year (Menzerna products), and even being a Seattle car was almost always driven in nice weather. Meaning the car has rarely seen rain, and only ever got caught in the snow a handful of times. I have another car I use for DD purposes so this car was used for nice days to work, weekends, and some summer trips around the state. For a 2006 I would rate the exterior 8.5-9 out of 10. Couple small rock chips typical of its age but very few and hard to notice with Apex Silver. Paint still glistens and usually has a coat of wax and sealant on it throughout the year. No body work or collisions ever and has a perfect CarFox report (commercial anyone?). I’m the person that parks at the very farthest spot away from everybody. Interior I would rate 9 out of 10 as well. Back seat was rarely ever sat in or used. Mechanically the car is perfectly sound and has absolutely zero problems and I’ve never has trouble with her. I followed the maintenance schedule per the “severe” requirements even though she was babied. I always used OEM fluids and Amsoil engine oil. I spared no expenses when it came to maintenance, exterior detailing products, and overall care of the car. As far as the background of the car I am the 2nd owner, bought ~6yrs ago from a gentleman in California that was meticulous about his cars (bought a new TT Porsche to replace this). I followed the same regiment. The last two years with my work schedule and traveling I’ve only been able to enjoy the car sparingly on the weekends and every now and then to work. I don’t abuse the car (adult driven) and it’s spent its life enjoying open roads on the weekends and the occasional trip. Still has the OEM clutch that performs just like the day I bought it. Car is 100% stock, details listed below: Car Specifications: • 2006 Evo IX MR – Apex Silver 59,XXX miles • BBS Hyper Black wheels (OEM Special Edition wheels) • 235/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires - ~60% tread • Clifford 2-Way pager alarm Maintenance: • All diff and transmission fluid changed with OEM Diaqueen ~8k miles ago • Fresh oil change and WIX filter ~100 miles ago • Brake pads changed at ~40k miles • Air filter ~5000 miles ago • Timing belt at ~40k miles I assume people will ask my reason for selling and that is I just don’t get to use the car for what it does best. I also just purchased a new BMW M3 so I can’t justify having two toys. It makes a great weekend car and is really practical in all weathers for a DD car as well. I’d love to keep her and maybe couple years down the road will return. This is a great chance to pick up a well cared for Evo that is becoming more rare (condition and fairly low mileage that is). If I missed anything feel free to ask and I will answer any questions you have. I also will not entertain any joy rides or test drives just because “It’s an evo”. Serious buyers only and unless cash or proof of financing present most test drives will be denied or by my hand only. Only a handful of people have ever driven my car and I plan to keep it like that (yes I’m that particular). Thank you! Pictures are all current. Plan to take better ones when the weather permits. Car will be available to see starting this Sunday 5/12. Price: $23,500 Last edited by dereksM3; 06-07-2013 at 01:46 PM.. |

GLWS. I just sold an Evo 8 with 45k miles on it for about your price. Don't budge on your price, you can easily find someone to buy it for that price :]

Damn, I had two Evos and every time I see one, I want one again. Evos are so fun to drive. I had the same BBS SE wheels on one of my old Evos. Yours is super clean! Good luck with the sale.

It is quite fun driving the M3 and Evo back to back, really amazing how different yet similar they are in some way. I think I remember you from the evo forums. I believe I read some of your Ohlins reviews which made me get Ohlins for it a couple years back.

Yes, that was me. I had the Ohlins DFV on my Evo 8. I brought them over from Japan. Also a lot cheaper in Japan too.
