Question Tint Provider/% Tint, Leather Protection

Guys...

Just wondering what brand of tint you think is best available to us Ozzies... and what percentage tint that I should go (is 30% the darkest legal tint?)

With leather protection... is there a specific brand that I should use?

Thanks guys.

Hey Zender...your signature needs updating - it's been "130 days" for the last 4 weeks mate - surely you're under 100 days now?

I used the darkest legal tint that the BMW dealer sells. It may not be the cheapest but at least you have recourse if something goes wrong with it. The whole tint thing has been done to death on the 1addicts site.

I never worry about leather protection etc as I believe it (like rustproofing and scotchgarding) is a rip.

+1 - done... calculating the current potential... it should be less than 112 days... but I don't want to get too excited and be told that it isn't arriving until December! Thanks mate!

My tint was done by the dealer. Small scratch and bubbles 8 weeks later and the dealer took care of it and I had a respectable loan car while my car was in the shop.

Dealer tint was pricier than the rest but they assured me that a portion was going to "charity". Plus I didn't have to drive the Tint Professor yellow mobile in between services! Enough said.

Will definitely be doing the same... although I'm thinking that I could also ask/specify the brand if there was some benefit in doing that!?

Tint, nah mine is as nature intended

I have the rear blind so it helps re rear seat headrests etc. The other thing to consider is this, http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212389 I have them in my wifes 135i, they look pretty neat and are removable.

Leather, I use Maguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner... it feels nice and sooooft.

WTF? Charity.... They actually said that to you? I would of laughed my head off hearing that.

Did you ask which one??

What if they had said we cannot discount the car anymore because we donate a portion of the sale price to charity. Sorry just never heard this before.
