Bought a 997s and have an m3, need to get rid of one

Which one should stay and which should go? Please share your thoughts. The m3 is a 2011 zcp dct space grey fully loaded with bmw performace exhaust. The porsche is a 2009 carrera s pdk atlas grey with sport chrono plus and +spasm sport suspension optioned well. Need to get rid of one, what do you guys think?

Are you asking for the one to get rid or the one to keep... it isn't clear to me what the poll is asking.

If I were you, I would keep them both. If selling is a must, I would sell them both and get a GTR or GT3 RS.

I saw the Porsche and bought it without thinking everything through. Now I'm stuck, don't know which to keep.

I wanted a gt3 but after driving one I felt it was a bit too extreme for me. I wanted a gts but couldn't find one at a reasonable price.

Are you married?

Do you have children?

Do you normally drive around with younger people in the car, i.e. nieces, nephews, etc.?

Do you have a pet?

Are you worried about gas mileage?

What made you want to buy the M3?

What made you want to buy the 911?

Do you drive mostly city or highway?

Do you drive in any areas where the Porsche may scrape?

I have intimate knowledge of both cars and voted to keep the 997. The gen II 997's are the best P-cars to date!

+1 - it's hard to pick one without understanding your situation. If you can honestly answer the questions above that will probably tell you which one you should keep. Good luck!

Yes. It has a 3.8l, direct injected, intermediate shaft-less, 385hp mill vs. the old 3.8, intermediate shaft'd 355hp unit. It sounds much more aggressive too

I think a lot of us who own m3's wonder about the 911S and at least think of getting into one of them from time to time. What do you think of the cars with respect to one another? What do you have more fun driving and why?
