2008 Bmw M3 Performance Driving School?

I just have a question. When you get m3 do they give you free M school to go learn how to drive the car in SC? Just wondering because they did it for me when I got my 6 series but hoping the do the same for M cars because I want to go to M school so bad. Looks AWESOME

I read it somewhere that the current 08 M3 don't have the M PD. I sure hope that I am wrong.

I am scheduled to pick up my car in SC and do a one day M driving experience. I have participated in the "all cars" driving experience before and that was awesome. I am not sure what this one day M thing will be but I'll definitely report back when I finish!

Is it free or do you have to pay? If so how much?

There is no M driving school for free with the M3. Search for the Larry Koch interview, this is one of the questions we asked him. You can pay for it. But a much better deal is to go to a BMW CCA driver's school. It's a full weekend for $400-$500, with a lot more track time and excellent instructors.

To get the flavor of it, here's a video of me at Summit Point raceway last year with the BMW CCA. This was my 10th track day, so realize the instruction was tailored to my experience. A newbie would receive instruction tailored to a newbie.

thnks for sharing, cant wait to get my time in Summit next mo. of the ISF free trackday event and Audis DE during August. Summit is alot better than Jefferson since its alot longer.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm picking my car up at the Spartanburg, SC facility as opposed to my local dealer?
