Hello ladies and gentlemen!

So there has been some interest in an M3Post/Bimmerpost caravan to Treasure Island this Saturday (February 13th) @ 8AM-11AM in another thread regarding SF/Bay Area Meets, so I have decided to create this thread in hope to meet some new faces and BMW enthusiasts! Yes, we all know that the day after is Valentine's Day which may automatically disqualify you from the event, but conversely its Single-Awareness Day so lets unite!

Please remember these are just my suggestions and I'm sure someone on this forum has organized a SF C&C Caravan before, so if that is you, don't be afraid to throw out some alternatives!


Caravan Meet-Up Location:

I was thinking about China Basin Park across from ATT Stadium as there is a nicely paved, long street with metered parking on both sides which we can temporarily meet up at. Although the location is metered, I am sure we should be safe from any parking enforcement, thus no need to feed the meters! Address comes up as 385 Terry A Francois Boulevard, San Francisco CA 94158. From here there is easy access to the Bay Bridge by taking Third (3rd) Street up two blocks, and then a Right Turn onto Bryant Street. Once onto Bryant, we move one block North and enter onto the I-80. Simple enough, right?


Caravan Meet-Up Time:

Although this will be my first C&C SF event, from what I can tell through social media (such as Facebook and Instagram) this event seems to get busy, quick. So based on popularity of the event alone, I suggest the time of 7AM at the Caravan Meet-Up Point. Seems to be a reasonable time as some of the enthusiasts at C&C events in Southern California meet up at 6AM often.


Caravan Departure Time:

This part of the itinerary is subject to change depending on number of attendees but I am assuming if we leave the Caravan Point at 7:30AM SHARP we should have no problem finding parking as a group! Should there be traffic/unforeseeable delays and we have not accounted for all group members interested in attending, we can most likely shift the departure time to 7:45AM.

Maybe we should setup something for people in the east bay. I'll be coming from Fremont.

We can meet somewhere in Fremont right off of 880 so all the south bay guys can join in too.

Any suggestions on a location and time? I can make a new thread about it so we don't lol.

haha nice!! i miss my e46 m3 vert a lot...i should've never sold it start a build thread - it's such a great car!!

I'm down. I was going to go to the caravan in daily city, but I rather just meet near Fremont. You have a time and place to meet?

ah, sorry. can't make it now - gotta buy my wife a new car in the morning and head off to bday festivities right after. was hoping i could squeeze c&c in the morning but the timing is too tight

The cars and coffee page on Facebook has a bunch of pictures. It happens the first Saturday of every month, unless there is another event going on in Treasure Island or there is a chance of rain. The Facebook page will always have the date for the next event.
