Best Way To Enjoy 24 hours in the SFO/SJ area?
Hi all. I'm flying in to SFO for business in Mountain View on Thursday and Friday morning. At noon or shortly after on Friday, I'm free and don't have to return to the airport until Saturday night at 9 PM.
The question I have is how does somebody who loves spirited driving and twisty roads best spend this time? I'm planning on renting a sporty car from Turo with pick up near the airport. A buddy in SJ recommended Mt Hamilton Rd but I'm turning to you guys on this. -Josh

Hwy 9 from Saratoga to the coast, then South on Hwy 1. Stop for something to eat in Santa Cruz or Capitola
Return via Soquel San Jose Road, ends at Summit Road. Take a left at Summit Road and finish headed back to SJ/MV on 17.

^1... if you don't do either one of those I recommend a coast down HWY 1 PCH with a stop in Half Crest Bay, Santa Cruz, or if you want to go a little further, Monterey and Carmel Valley towards Big Sur.. enjoy
