Any DIY on M3 swaybars?

Or is this not really a DIY-er...better for a true mechanic?

if this is anything like my last e90, which i believe it is, it involves dropping the rear sub frame to install the aft sway.. the fronts are ez. The rears are a Mother!@#$

but there is a technique to get around it, but i wouldnt do it as a backyard mechanic. I gave the tip to my mechanic and he got it right away and was able to do it all in 2 hrs, which normally would be a 4+ hours job

How much do sway bars cost to install on our cars?

I bought the e93 sways and installed the front. Pretty straight forward to install. Havent done the rears yet due to the whole sub frame issue

Front is quite simple. Just drop the reinforcement plate and the bushings and you are done. The rears... don't do it. You don't want to mess with factory aligned suspension subframe just for a sway bar...

If you really want to do it, make sure a good, certified body shop aligns the subframe for you.
