OEM Factory Tyres

Hey guys,

I just wanted to know what tyres are fitted to M3 from the factory. I have a M3 Pure with the competition package 19" wheels coming and was interested in what tyres would be on it.

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations. Bet you can't wait
From factory there are a few possibilities but likely Continental SP3 or Michelin pilot sport with 265 /35/19 and 245/35/19
The addiction begins

Yeah I place the order almost 3 weeks ago, and the excitment level are crazy, and I have to wait until late May or early June for delivery. So I think its gonna kill me. I cant wait until its on the ship and I can track it.

So that the Continental ContiSportContact 3 or the Michelin Pilot Sport 3? Not the Michelin Pilot Super Sport?

They do all sorts tyres, so it's a wait and see but I bet you get the Contis . Maybe go into a dealer and see what's on a new floor stock car.
You will love the car, I've had ours 3 years and still can't wait to drive it, still has the same excitement levels, even more. It's also very addictive pulling it apart ad modding the car to personalize it.

Yeah I did some more Googling and looks like there is quite the selection and is almost a lucky dip as to what you will be getting. The vast amount of them appear to be Michelin Pilot Sports, Continentals, or Pirelli P Zero's.

From a floor stock point of view, the dealer has got a 2012 Pure II with the 220 19" in black, which has the Pirelli's IIRC.

I have never waited longer than 2 weeks for a car, and this is my first M3. I have wanted one for so long, its awesome that I have got the chance to get one. The new Pure's certainly made it more affordable.

I ordered one as well a couple of weeks ago. Last of the V8's so I could resist. Same time for delivery as you. What options did you go for?

Good to know about tyres

PS2's here but I don't think they sell them anymore. They seem to be either Michelins or Conti's which are both really good

Would assume PS2s.

1Ms have essentially the same wheel and tyre. They have the PS2s which are still a great tyre. Superseeded by the PSS now...
